The developed machine is able to assemble a complete non-PVC set consisting of tubes, caps and empty bags. The cell is capable of assembling two different subassemblies, without any changes to the overall design/process being necessary.

The following processes have been successfully developed

  • Use of pre-cut tubing
  • Winding and thermal welding
  • Drawing ring cap on Y-site assembly (includes automatic assembly and storage of the cap throughout the machine cycle)
  • Automatic orientation and folding of empty bags
  • Automatic banding
